You can almost smell the newness, am I right?

There is something so magical about those early newborn days—tiny fingers, sleepy snuggles, and the way time seems to slow down for just a moment. I had the sweetest time with the Snow family recently as they welcomed their newest little love into the world, and I’m so excited to share a peek into our cozy in-home session.

From the moment I walked into their beautiful space, I could feel the warmth and love that surrounds this baby girl. Big sis was all smiles, and mom and dad were positively glowing. We let the morning light pour in through the windows while we captured the everyday beauty of this special season—soft swaddles, peaceful naps, and those tiny baby yawns that melt your heart.

I especially loved this tender moment of mama adjusting her baby girl’s headband. It’s the little things—the quiet, gentle touches—that speak volumes about the love in a family. These are the kinds of moments that often go unnoticed in the busyness of newborn life, but they are so worth remembering.

In-home sessions like this are my favorite way to tell your story just as it is—authentic, relaxed, and full of heart. There’s nothing quite like photographing a family where they’re most comfortable, surrounded by their own memories.
