RED rocks are where its at
If you’re coming to Southern Utah with the whole family, this is your sign to add family photos to the vacation itinerary.
This family was visiting from New York, so we headed out near Sand Hollow Reservoir for their family session.
Red rocks, desert views, beautiful light—and most importantly, everyone was already together.
Family Photos While Visiting St. George, Utah
One of my favorite things about photographing families on vacation is that the session becomes part of the trip.
We’ll absolutely get the big group photo where everyone is looking at the camera. But I’m also watching for everything happening in between.
The cousins hugging.
Kids being kids.
Grandparents with their people.
The laughing when we’re trying to get everyone in one place.
Those little moments are often the photos families end up loving most.
Sand Hollow Family Photos
Sand Hollow is an incredible area for family photos near St. George, especially if you want that Southern Utah look in your gallery.
The red rock and desert landscape make a beautiful backdrop without needing anything else. I use the natural light and keep posing relaxed so your photos still feel like your family.
And if you have kids who aren't thrilled about taking pictures? That's okay. Making sessions fun and comfortable for kids is a huge part of what I do.
If you're planning a trip to St. George, Sand Hollow, or Southern Utah, you don't have to be local to book a family session.
Come home with more than pictures of the scenery.
Come home with pictures of everyone who was there with you.
